How can so many people on here say that global warming isn't a real issue? I honestly can't believe that so many people refuse to see that we are destroying this planet.

Global warming is a real threat to our species along with all the other animals on the planet. It's been seen since 1750(when the industrial revolution really took off) that global temps have risen over 1 degree. That may not seem like much, but it has created many problems. The droughts, the hurricanes, and the wildfires are just some of the problems that are being created. In samples taken from the poles it shows that this is the highest concentration of carbon in over 420,000 years. If that doesn't say something then I don't know what does. An even bigger piece of evidence is that the glaciers are melting faster then ever before. In glacier national park there were over 150 glaciers in 1910 and now there are fewer than 30. The pumping out of CO2 is what causes the atmosphere to keep more of the heat trapped. It ends up heating up the earth and with humans pumping out billions annually it is starting to show. If you still don't believe the hype you should read a book titled the weather makers. How man is changing the environment and what it means for life on earth. Think about it this way some of the best scientists in the world say that by 2080 if we don't curb our emissions that the human species may be on the decline and on our way out. Just think about it logically before you talk and where is your evidence that it's just a cycle.

Man is a creature just like any other. We step in to save this animal and that animal, Should we? We destroy land build buildings and make mitigation areas to compensate for the loos of nature. Are humans to live for ever? Are we doing anything worst than the earth dose to itself? Global warming has been going on for millions of years, If we were to try and revers it then wouldn't we be doing something unnatural, That's just trying to save our self are we worthy? Concentrate more on Food, and health issues it would save more lives and better humans for the day the Earth Dies.

Global warming is happening. No question.

The issue at hand is whether it is manmade, or whether this interglacial period is a surprise considering the fact that others happened long before man started burning fossil fuels or using hairspray.

Global warming is happening. When it is done, it will become global cooling. No fleet of SUVs will change that.

global waming is just a ploy created by the big shots of the world to get our minds off of what is really happening. The carbon dioxide we are creating is actually good for the trees around us. Back in the 70's we were all very worried about global cooling(the next ice age)

If you want to obtain supply cash for local weather study, do you believe that you can get a cheque for those who say," I want the supply, as I believe that I can end up that the figures that the present paradigm is founded upon are fallacious" ? The exceptional environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. There continues to be no established causative hyperlink among the volume of Co2 within the surroundings, and an expand in worldwide temperatures. The WWWF photos of the polar bears swimming have been taken within the Arctic summer time; while the ice cap in part melts, as they could not rise up to photo within the iciness. The ice used to be too thick! The East-Anglian uni study figures. "Oh! The figures do not fit our expectancies. Oh good. Keep quiet. Because we all know that we're proper." When the notion, and the religion is extra principal than squarely dealing with the legit doubts of plenty of non supply-supported scientists, technological know-how has been superceded by means of devout zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully stated." I pray thee, within the bowels of Christ, take into account that thou mayest be fallacious."

Global warming is real. The earth has always been through cooling and warming periods, and there is no credible evidence that we have done anything to cause it, or could do anything to prevent it.

And what, oh egotist, do you think that man can do to stop the Earth's natural cycles? Global warming is just eco-freak conjecture.

It's obviously a real problem. A veryy big problem. It's scary. I don't like thinking about it. Maybe no one else does either. But it shouldn't be ignored though.
