Depends on the context. They're both correct but "I forward" is present tense and "I forwarded" is past tense

Example:

"People sometimes accidentally send email to me that should actually go to Bob. When I get them, I forward them to him. Yesterday I forwarded ten emails to him!""

well "i forward" is present tense, like something you will do. "i forwarded" is past tense, something you have done.
for instance, "i will forward the message to sue", this is an action you are preparing to do, present tense, it is in the future, you haven't done it yet. "i have forwarded the message to sue", this is an action you have already carried out, past tense, it's in the past, you've done it. i'm lousey at the intracasies of grammer, but i can tell what sounds right to my ear and what does not.

I believe that it is "I forwarded", however if you are not sure you could always say "I sent...".
