Find a location that is about an hour drive away. This will give you plenty of time for talking and then spend a few hours exploring this area. Ask a local for their favorite restaurant and then go there. Visit a park in the area and a museum. A full fun day with not too much commitment or cost for new date mates.

I went to Gran Ventata in Dominican Republic with my boyfriend who, at the time, we were only dating 6 months. We both loved it cause there was lots to do outside of just being the two of us. We also met other couples who were dating a few months, and one that was dating for only 3 weeks when they decided to take their trip. Try to pick a spot that you can get to know the person, be one on one with them (in more than one way) and also be able to do your own thing. Places like Mexico, Dominican Republic and even St Maarten, are all great for that. :)

The best place to to would be some place close by and go camping it is something fun and adventurist most people don't camp a lot so it is a great idea to try and see and connect to the great outdoors again.

your back gate,
dont go away with someone you barely know,its far too dangerous,
do you know what they are like with alcohol in them,what are they like if you talk to other people
all these things you need to know before you even think about going on holiday.
I was with my x for 2 years before we went away for the first time,i thought i knew him,i was wrong.
Be very careful.
