It's not important. But the reason it made the news is because the bottle of Viagra had a doctor's name on it as the recipient, rather than Rush's name. As it turns out, that was for privacy's sake - the doctor's name was put on it to keep Rush's name out of it. Looks like that strategy backfired at the security check in the airport though.

The media is against any Republicans so when one commits a crime, they are all over it. It's not really important to me or to you, but since this was a Republican, they smeared him.

Rush Limbaugh rules!
Down with Al Franken!
Air America is the show of the anti-Christ.

I can't tell you how much I disagree with Limbaugh. But I can't tell you how much I hate it that celebrities come in for this kind of gratuitous harassment. I only fly twice a year, but I fly with four kinds of pills in my carryon and have never once been questioned about it.

So he is a known prescription drug abuser and so they see him and they scrutinize him and they hassle him, and find a bottle of pills that didn't have his name on it and so of course he was breaking the law and violating his probation, etc.

It's not important to me or you and it is not a big deal, but the liberal media is looking for any excuse to make a conservative talk show host look bad...

Unless we all need to see another example of how celebrity justice is different from the justice that average citizens experience, this episode is of no importance whatsoever.
