In America, we've stabalized the polution. The problem is that we can only control our own nation. We can't stop nations like China and Mexico from polluting.
The other thing to look at is history. The earth goes through natural warm and cool stages (you have the ice ages, then you have periods of warm weather, then you go back to the ice ages). We are in a warm period now, and eventually (probably within 5,000 years) will go back to another ice age.

Because to stop global warming it takes everyone to be involved. There is no accountability, especially with the current administration. The Bush administration has made making money a priority and does not care about the environment. It's sad that in this day and age, it's all about the buck.

Because we won't stop burning fossil fuels until they're gone or the sun is so hot that we don't want to burn any fuel for anything. That is the cause of global warming, the burning of fossil fuel. Maybe when it's gone, the ozone layer will replenish. Better stop chopping down the global rain forests, too. They give off the oxygen we breath, you know.

because global warming is a natural process that involves the motion of the earth in relation to the sun. Climatologists like the theory of global warming because it increases their relevance but ask an astrophysicist about global warming, the planet is not sitting still it "wobbles" on its axis, it is this wobble which is causing the appearance of global warming, but to truly analyze this one must examine the planets long term history.

because SOME warming (just like cyclical COOLING, which we haven't been hearing much about for a long time) is a natural process brought on by natural phomena rather than by human activites that humans are able to stop and has been happening at a rate & an extent that is actually much less & much slower than almost everybody is claiming it is
