It's pretty good at sweeping and destroying spyware. It could also be your computer automatically downloading updates if you have an "always on" connection such as DSL or cable modem. It could be Windows auto archiving files.

It's probably dust in the fan. Try giving it a good cleaning with one of those spray cans, not with liquid or a big vacuum cleaner. (And be sure to unplug it first!)

No they are not spying ,probably you need to clean your cooling fan or replace if nessessary.
