Depending on the time, age and experience. I would say $30-50/day is fair. I used to do it in my home and I got $150/week for 3 kids. 1 baby all day, then 2 after school. I was also a professional nanny and my last job, I got $450/week minus taxes for 60 hours.

You haven't mentioned the ages of the children, or how many hours you spend with them. Also, rates vary by where you live.
If I were sitting for an infant (who slept most of the time), and his brother (who didn't get home from school till an hour before his parents got home), I wouldn't charge very much.
If it were two toddlers, or preschoolers, I would expect a lot more.

How many hours?
I have a lot of experience babysitting and have taken CPR and Heimlich courses, so I'd charge about $10/Hr.

I believe the going rate is about 2.50 -3.00 an hour. But I would adjust according to the way the children behave.
