Leet or L337 means "Elite" and it basically means great or the best of hte best in computer chat room lingo. Pain in the butt really. I think it originated in some kind of online comic. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong :)

it means elite it is also the Hacker Language that so many people call it. Because this is used to set up many government based websites. i only know this because i looked this up in the online dictionary of Google
