It's called a generational curse. It affects families and their offspring. You can get rid of it, if you can do a little lineage, and figure out who screwed up, and see what you cant do to resolve it

We have a family in our town that seems to find misfortune at every turn. The daughter fell when she was 2 and poked out her eye. Two years later there was a house fire, house and all contents were lost in the fire and a family pet. Then the father lost his job. And most recently the father and the son were out hunting, in a very tragic accident the father shot the son and he passed away, he was 10 years old. It seems that this man has had bad luck or whatnot following him. In talking about the accident with others and all of this was recounted to me, the wife was told not to marry this fellow because of the things that had happened in the past to his kinfolk. So I would say that it just may follow certain people and through generations. I felt so bad for the family cause it just sounds like they've had a really rough time. I hope that they can rebound after this last terrible disaster.

It can happen, but it's extremely rare that the kind of 'luck' you're talking about runs in families. Some people are just lucky or unlucky and that can affect the rest of the family. But, again, it is a possibility.

Yes. Minor misfortune runs in our family. My mother told me a funny story about her introducing my dad to my grandmother. My grandmother somehow managed to get her bracelet hooked on her teacup and spilled tea everywhere. My mom said after they left, he looked at her and said, "Well, I definately know you're related." Stuff like that happens in our family a lot!

Fortune or misfortune is a mind set.
So, yes, it does run in families. But only so far as it is our families who train us in our mindset.
Don't like your family's fortune? Change your mind!
