my favorite movie is PATTON, because it shows that a mighty warrior, can be sensitive also, to his men's needs, to history and poetry, and be religious also..great movie, and great actor...George C. Scott won an Oscar for his role.....

I would say for recent ones, Gladiator, the opening sequence is awesome.
One of the most powerful would be Zulu
Probably the best Citizen Kane
