Because everyone is so closed minded - you yourself are being closed minded by asking a question the way you just did. Possibly try posing your arguments in a different manner? I personally do not agree with Bush but respect him as our president. I do not hate him, I just disagree to a certain extent. Sometimes people who are not knowledgable on a subject will find someone to point their finger at and a lot of times Bush seems to be the biggest finger magnet out there in the USA government whether it be right or not.

I highly doubt if you've talked to all than many people about much of anything.
Working with Vets in LA and talking to people all day long is both my job and my passion.
Vets come is all political groupings, from liberal to conservative to non-political. For the more liberal minded I've worked with you'll find that, while most display a dislike for Bush, most of their concerns and the same concerns as everyone else. Jobs, family, the price of gas, etc.
I suggest you actually get out more, actually talk to a large cross-section of middle America.

Three words: "One track mind"
Of course "One Trick Pony" also comes to mind.
Its because the liberals around here are high school students who think its their job to fight authority, with a few generally delusioned adults who should know better, along with a helping of paid political propagandists thrown in. In 2000 and 2004 unions trolled chat rooms, blogs, forums, the whole net to push the democrats agenda for them. I personally know two of the members of the AFL-CIO who were paid to "spread the word" across the different barriers. This is an election year and they are here now.
The funny (or is it sad) part is that so many of the young people understand just how they are being manipulated.

I think they were not sure of him in 2000 but after all that has happened they came to realize he was a divider and not willing to work with anybody other than his base supporters.
The evangelicals have now turned against him because of broken promises, true conservatives because of his massive spending and military/CIA because of being blamed for his failed policies.
The question I would ask is how bad does it have to get before the president's base supporters start to speak out for change? What would convince you that this unusual discontent is for a real set of problems? A conviction?

What would you preffer, Nickie? I hate Liberals who hate Bush just because "he's a conservative", "he caused 9/11" blah, blah, blah. What I hate about him isn't gossip, it's fact. He knew what was going to go down, and let it; He's currently in Iraq to make his daddy happy, while we're still waiting victims of Osama bin Laden, maybe even North Korea. But you don't want to hear that. You'd rather listen to whoever praises the ground that retard walks on.

I'm a conservative.
ANSWER: The same reason most conservatives blasted Clinton during his 8 years. Just bitching about general ideas and issues with no viable solutions to offer and placing blame on one figure head seems rather silly. Oh! That's called a 2 party system or a bad marriage.

We don't hate Bush, really. It's just that he's a lowdown, snake of a thief who stole Florida in 2000 with the help of his idiot brother, and then did the same thing in Ohio in 2004. Some of us don't believe he's the President of the United States. He's just a thief. Wonder who his boss is.

They don't seem to be able to offer much in the way of solutions or better possibilities, so fall back and talk garbage is the thing to do. Not like they're taking the easy path or anything.
It doesn't matter; the political system is dysfunctionally broken.

my guess, Liberals will quit talking about their hatred for Bush when Conservatives quit talking about him being appointed by God to run this country. Bunch of Kool-Aid drinking fools if you think God was behind his election.
