I have a nose problem. All of my life, I've always had my nose stuffed up especially in the summer time. I've been told that I should see a nose doctor about the problem and perhaps I need to widen my nasal pasages. I'm constantly sniffing even after I've blown my nose, and I use over-the-counter nasal sprays but they only help for a certain about of time. I'm scared about having any type of operation on my nose. Can you recommend something that isn't surgical or if you know the medical term for seeing a nose doctor?

My dad has the same sort of problem and his doctor said it was rhinitis.

There are a few remedies, have you tried any prescription nasal sprays?

If you want over the counter or homeopathic, try Ocean Nasal Spray for lubrication and something from your local health food store for congestion. Go and ask them the question. Good luck.

My dad lived with a deviated septum for 60 years. Using nasal sprays, breath-right strips, snoring, decongestants, and all that crap. He had surgery for one day, had cotton shoved up his nose for a week, then he could breath just fine. He hates that he waited so long. Go see a doctor.
