Just link to it. Make sure it is stored in a server and not on your computer (unless it is a server).

If you have the song on your PC you can type in the local address of the song at it will play it.

If you want it on the web you need to upload the song to a website and then type in the remote address. If you don't hold the copyrights for the song you'll be breaking the law.

if you intend to have the song on the computer and play the song from your computer only, then just type in the filesystem address to it (e.g. type "C:\\.mp3" in the address bar). This method will allow users on your computer to open the song file, but no one else.

If you are intending to share the file, then you need a webhost. There are quite a few free ones out there, although they don't all allow you to host without a website. If they do though, you upload your file to their server and then they should provide you with the default URL. Once the file is uploaded, then the address you need to type in would be something like "http://www..com//song.mp3"

hope this helps

i don't know about making the actual song into a web address, but if you make a blank web page and then enter the code to add the music then when you put the address of the page in the address toolbar, it'd appear blank (or whatever) but the song will play automatically - if you entered the code for it to play automatically once the page appears

just type in the path of the file on your file system. so if i have a folder on my webserver called sounds and in there i have a file named sound1.mp3 i attach to the end of where my filesystem is, /sound/sound1.mp3. So if I owned myurl.com and had my files there it would be:
www.myurl.com/sound/sound1.mp3

This will open up on the page or in a player depending on what the user has chosen
