USA had all the money to do whatever they wanted. USA were friends with most countries in the world. USA spent money in adequate things not in war! And people criticize him for having a 'love affair'!!

Americans should start criticizing the hick that is making the USA go down!

yo, rock n roll.....why you think that dubba was so certain that there were WMD's.......'cause Daddy sold them to the tyrant when he was 'running the country'. and check a few more facts before you start crapping on Clinton about China, etc......he's not the one poking the big ole bear with a stick right now.....Bush is.....so, gather some facts instead of just spouting off things you heard on the street corner. and, you know what? if I were the First Lady, i would not be sucking or blowing anybody either......

Clinton is getting a raw deal now because the republican based news media is shoving it down our throats while Bush golfs with Daddy every month......shut it, okay?

check the stats of the country when big ole bad Clinton left, and check 'em now.....in my opinion, the worst thing they did was steal all the W's on the keyboards when they left office......

Because he told the biggest lie I've ever heard. His whole campaign leading up to his first election was that he would not raise taxes. Within 3 months of his inauguration (if my memory is right) we had a tax increase that officially took first place as the largest increase in our history.

Look at the years he was in office, 1993-2001. Clinton didn't have to do anything to stimulate the economy. Computers came into homes and the whole industry exploded, without any input or work from him. Nor his beloved Al Gore who thought he created the internet. All Clinton had to do while in office was keep his nose clean and he couldn't even do that.

About the same time he left office, the whole dot com explosion had leveled out. That left a whole lot of people who thought the dot com would never burst, standing on a street corner looking for an IT job.

Clinton did nothing, period. Oh, except for his push towards better education, and he took the front row seat by teaching small children about oral sex.

Under Clinton's watch globalization of trade (NAFTA, WTO) really took off. Certainly one can understand that the stock markets will climb as multitudes of corporations begin using cheaper foreign labor, thus becoming more profitable. The prosperity was an illusion as it was beneficial to those primarily in the investor class. The disparity between rich and poor actually grew during his administration, as poor Americans can not compete in the global market with those far poorer than themselves.

I don't hate President Clinton, though. He is one heck of a smooth politician and I do like to watch him do his thing, even though I generally disagree with him.

I do think that it would be improper, and irresponsible for him to seek the UN Secretary Generalship. That could divide the loyalties of Americans, as he is very popular.

The republicans rant! Do you realize who the republicans were that have cheated on their wives that were standing in judgment of Clinton? Newt Gengrich, Bob Barr, Henry Hyde, Livingstone and a few others I can't remember just now. They are all hypocrites...and so-called christians. Notice the country didn't go along with those self-righteous bums. I say impeach BUSH. I saw a placard on TV that read....Clinton lied but nobody died. At about the same time during the "impeachment" Pat Robertson was feting Gengrich...wasn't that wonderful!

I agree..the Clinton administration, despite the "affair", did a good job. The only area I think they lacked was in homeland defense. Despite 9/11 happening during the Bush era....it was actually Clintons fault for not being ready. Other than that Clinton did good.

Of course the government had more money. It's easy when you keep finding ways to raise taxes. And just so you get some reality in there the economicdecline started under Clinton also.

An illicit love affairs smacks of bad moral character. This is something which most of other Presidents of the USA did or are doing but it became known only after most of them were out of office and not in office.

Because Republicans can't stand seeing a Democrat succeed at anything and try to claim his success as their own.

Oh, and yes we have been criticizing King George but by doing so we have been labeled unAmerican, America haters or liberal to distract people away from the truth of a criminal president.

I'm with you 100% He was a great president. They can't stand it. We were 10 trillion to the good when he was president. Now bush has spent that 10 trillion, and by the end of his term, 10 trillion more.
