Just like with cell phones, each device's lock code is based on the hardware and serial that is specific for the device. No one code will "unlock" the subsidy lock on your Treo without knowing more about the serial, carrier and other info.
If you got it from Cingular, once your contract is up, you can contact Cingular and request for an unlock code. If you try to get an unlock code from the carrier you got the Treo from, they will either not provide it for you, or charge you an outrageous amount for it.
Best bet is to do a search in google for people and sites that offer to "unlock" your Treo. Of course, they aren't free and can cost around $20-$40. If you can find a local cellular store (not directly affiliated with any carrier), you can ask them whether they can unlock it for you. Many (not all) have the correct software and cable to do it.
