ISIS manual breast pump is the best or if you need an electirc the ISIS UNO. For the Bouncy seat dont waste your money buy a very good swing like fisher price aqurium.

First off congratulations on your upcoming addition to your family. I have given you some links below for a baby swing, a bouncer, a jumperoo and 2 different breast pumps. All 3 of my children LOVED the bouncer seats. I used the fisher price ocean wonders bouncer - it had a vibrating seat and they loved it. Then when they out grew the bouncer I went to the jumperoo - which again was a HUGE HIT. My jumperoo has survived 5 children! 3 of my own and my sister in laws 2 children and it's STILL in great shape! As for breastfeeding, I used the Madella pump - it's more expensive but WELL WORTH IT! And if this is only your first child - and you plan on having more - trust me spend the money on a good pump! If you live in the chicagoland area - I still have my bouncer seat - it's the older version of the fisher price ocean wonders - the only difference is the seat cover design. It's still in great condition. If interested please let me know. I also have a lot of children's infant toys if you'd like any. Please feel free to email me at pbear76@comcast.net - my children are now 2 1/2 and I have 14 month old twins that are outgrowing our smaller toys. I have a TON if needed. Just let me know.

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK!

Why do you need an inexpensive breast pump? If you need to use it daily, an inexpensive model will not be effective enough. If you *don't* have an immediate need for it, then don't bother buying it at all. You may *never* need it.

Personally, I would say the same about a baby bouncer or swing. Instead of that, buy a baby sling. Babies are happier when cuddled to you than in some plastic device, and the sling will allow you to hold baby and still get other things done.

The swing I had with my two boys is the Fischer Price magical aquarium swing. I think that's what it's called, lol. You can buy it at Target, Wal Mart and Babies R Us, and it's $99.00 plus tax. I know that might seem a bit pricey, but it's extremely well made and since it has features (music, lights, fish swimming, etc.) it will entertain your baby for a looooong time versus having a swing that just swings and doesn't do anything else.

As for the breast pump...eh, well. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. You buy cheap, you get cheap. I didn't have any luck with the manual ones, so I bought a Medela Pump In Style Advance ($325). Two weeks later I found out I wasn't able to breastfeed, so I sold it to a friend of a friend for a song. Made me sick. :( You could consider buying one from eBay or the paper or somewhere else and just buying the tubing and other parts. The pump itself doesn't touch any milk or your breasts or anything.

I never did the breast pump, I just expressed it by hand. But if you plan to use it alot, get one. And swings are nice, but i preffered a bouncer that had a vibrate function. Its hard to prop up a newborn in a swing, but you can in a bouncer. My bouncer had a vibrate function and a pull over top with netting. So I could lay baby inside to sleep and take her outside to be beside me while I played with my older children. The vibrate was wonderful and with the shape of the closed in bouncer, she could snuggle into the bottom and get comfy how she wanted too, without bugs getting at her!

I would go with a swing..bouncers don't have much of a purpose other than "holding" the baby for you. A swing can be used for rocking the baby to sleep or an extra toy since some of them have toys attached and also you can attach your own. I recommend an open top swing since they take up less space then the others.

Medela makes a great inexpensive manual pump. Do not get Gerber's massaging one. It may sound good, but it took me over an hour to get one ounce pumped. I was so upset. Avent also has a good manual pump. I really think some of it has to do with the size of your breasts. Good Luck.
My daughter loved the Fisher Price Soothing Vibrations bouncer and their Linkadoos swing. Be careful and make sure you check the recommended weight limits for both of these and make sure you don't use them after they weigh too much.

Evenflo electric double breast pump worked really well for me. I had a preemie and had to pump all of her meals for 3 weeks. I went through 3 pumps before deciding that the Evenflo was the most comfortable.

I loved the Fisher Price Aquariam swing. All of my kids liked that better than the bouncy seat. Although the bouncy seat is a great place to feed them baby food when they aren't quite ready to sit in the high chair.

You should probably get a baby swing for her now, and then a jumper later. The best one I found for the jumper was a jumparoo. I dont know about breast pumps. If you live in the southeat michigan area, I can give you my swing. It is a very nice one and practically brand new.
