Why do liberals want illegal immigrants to be free to do what ever they want?

Liberalism is a mental illness. They don't care about our country and our safety. They would rather have illegal convict immigrants to come in and kill our citizens. I mean how stupid is it when a person loses his ranch in Texas to an illegal immigrant because he gets hurt.
If the liberals ran this country, we wouldn't have an army, we'd have a sign which said "We're the Evil of the world please invade us and enslave our people". These people should be shipped to Antartica with all the child molesters they support so much.

The problem with this "problem:" is that there IS NO real problem. Illegal immigration has always been present, and always will be.

If yhou listen to some TV commentators, like the blather coming from CNN's Lou Dobbs, you'd swear that the sky suddenly opened up and started raining illegals.

This really shouldn't be an argument about illegals -- what services they're getting, and what amnesties they should be getting -- but one about ECONOMICS.

In the late 1990s, NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement) and GATT (the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) were enacted by a large group of nations, partly to assist the economies of poorer countries. Obviously, this isn't working, and the result is that thousands of citizens of those poor countries in Latin America are streaming north in search of a better life.

Nobody uproots oneself from one's own culture to face the perils of an alien culture unless one is desperate. If the wealthy nations would truly commit themselves to improving the economies of their poorer nations, it would stem the flow of illegal immigration far more effectively than fences at the border, deportations, or criminalization of illegal entry.

I don't think that's the issue. Personally, I think illegals should be deported, without question. However, it's not bleeding heart liberals that are the problem. It's lobbyists in Washington that have a vested interest in keeping these illegals in the country.

Our economy would suffer a serious blow if certain industries didn't have laborers working below minimum wage to provide their products. Prices would shoot up, and therefore, so would our need for MORE money.

It's a vicious little predicament we've gotten ourselves into. And personally, I'm quite amused watching the politicians try to spin the topic, rather than deal with it.

I wouldn't know. I'm liberal as they come, but I don't believe we should allow illegal immigrants into this country. They need to do it the legal way like everyone else. I understand they want a new or better life, but so do americans born here.

So don't target liberals, because our denomination doesn't mean we're all exactly the same.

They don't. Most just use common sense about the matter. For example, illegal immigrants who don't receive prenatal care can have birth complications which in turn costs taxpayers more than it would have had the mother been given prenatal care to begin with. Liberals use their heads. Republicans, on the other hand, praise Rush Limbaugh who needs viagra to get his cock up and is doped-up on painkillers.

Because they hope if they are seen as supporting illegal aliens they might eventually increase their voting block. Liberals and Democrats, (often the same), buy votes. They use scare tactics on the poor and provide things like welfare, social security, ect to keep the people dependent on them. They hope the immigrants will become another dependent group.

I'm not a liberal and I want that. We have no more claim on this country than the Mexican people who come here and contribute just as much if not more to the economy than any half-breed Alabama redneck who pumps gas. Why should bubba have job security when he can't even spell his own name? Get used to it. Major corporations make billions off the backs of immigrants. Don't expect it to change anytime soon.

As far as I can tell Liberals want a "Weak USA." They want a "one world order" type of world. A weak USA is the only way they can accomplish it, which I Do Not Want. Letting us be over-run by mexicans is part of what they desire for a weaker America. They also want us to lose the war in Iraq. That's why they keep reporting the Iraq war is a "quagmire" when actually we are winning.

It is all about retaining/gaining power. If illegals are allowed to stay her and get citizenship quickly, liberals assume that the illegals will all vote democratic in order to maintain their welfare state life.

I love extremes - I think "liberals" want to see a system in place so these peoples can become citizens and then become as "free to do what ever they want" as any other American citizen.
