um.. have you tried a MEMBER search?

If you know the members ID you can try the directory but if they have chosen not to be listed on this you most likely will not find them. One thing you can try is to go to your yahoo friends list and open a blank chat window, then click view profile and you should be prompted to put in an ID. Also as long as you have the ID you can always add them to your list of friends. If you do not have their ID then it will be more difficult to locate them. If they are registered in the directory with their real name you may but otherwise I'm not sure there is a way to find them.
