ok im having a party at my house.
starts at 6 until we pass out.
im know for dressing nicely (i do since it makes me look and feel hotter)
there will be single women there and i would like to make a nice impression....
i was thinking a suit jacket(black), t shirt (solid color) and some nice jeans.
it is a casual kind of event but i was thinking if i was slightly dressed it would be good since im the host (i dont have a smoking jacket - thats a joke people)
will that be causal enough however stylish and slightly dressy or make me look stupid. ive pulled it off before with complements but never at a party....
what do you guys think

It could work but it depends entirely on how the rest of the people invited are dressed.
If they are all wear more casual looks you will stand out and feel overdressed.

I think that sounds like a very cool outfit, and I agree that as the host you should be slightly more dressy than everyone else. I recommend you try the outfit on with the shoes you want to wear...the shoes can make or break it...(yes girls pay attention to that!)

No jacket unless its freezing...logo Tee long sleeve shirt (if striped make sure it runs vertical NOT horizontal) compliment this with a black belt and in style jeans low rise/ boot cut...nice black shiny shoes or boots....and you can throw in a watch to compliment your attire....Have fun!!

all people internet hosting a tea social gathering might want to placed on a hat. i'm chuffed for you, that you've a cat civilized sufficient to host something. Mine are wild animals, act like finished heathens. good success, desire you strengthen a great number of $$$$$!!

sounds nice to me....go for it, you can always lose the jacket later if you feel too dressed up.......have a good time,sounds like it'll be fun

sounds good to me. unless you told people to come formal or semi-formal in which case you might want at least a collared shirt.
