If you are a striker, and you want to excel, you should be aware of the offside rule. It is very easy to avoid.

No, I don't think they should do away with the offiside rule. That would not only put the strikers planted right in front of the goal for the game, but that means the defenders would also be stationed there. The midfielders would have to cover much more of the field. The game would turn into a long ball game with less accuracy.

I think the strikers would not have as many opportunities and when they do, the time span of their action would be short.

no, then you'd end up with kickball and cherry picking, there would be no movement of the ball through the midfield. The challenge of the game would be lost, and you'd end up with two groups of people in either 18 yard box. That's not exactly what I want to watch for 90+ minutes. They might score a lot more, but the thrill of seeing the play unfold and be finished with a beautitful (or even crappy) shot (or miss) is part of the beauty of the game, it's not easy, it's not supposed to be, taking away offsides would ruin the game.

No, the rules have been the same for years, why should we change it now? Past strikers have excelled at this game with those same offside rules.

no because there would be way too many goals scored and it would turn the game into a game that ends up being like 20-18 final and that isn't what soccer is about... although if you were a forward you would like to see that happen to get more attention... but if you were already a truly great forward like ronaldo... you would lose SO MUCH attention
