Me and my husband are planning to have our first vacation for the last 3 years, We had no chance to go on our honey-moon. I want to make this trip unforgetable because we don't have chance to see each other a lot due to our jobs.
I don't mind to pay for the hotel 150 - 200$. But I don't know which one to choose. What should I pay attention to? Which beach is the best?
We want a hotel so that we can walk to the beach. A hotel that is close to different restaurants, bars(walk distance could be up to 3 miles), not very expensive parking. We want a very good beach as well. We are not looking for busy night clubs or bars. We'd prefer more silent rest, enjoying sunsets, walking and what not...

If you are looking for serenity rather than the frenzied night life, I would try Seaside. Seaside is a lazy little town on the Florida panhandle with a nice beach, and great restaurants. They have cute cottages to rent, and a few for just 2 people that would fit your price range. The website for Seaside is:

You should be able to walk to anything you would want to go to there. Happy travels!

Hi :)

Florida doesn't seem like the most romantic place.. Maybe Miami if you both LOVE the beach. Or you can take a cruise from the ports of Miami to maybe the bahamas?

I would offer some other romantic destinations, if you want to go somewhere else rather than florida you can email me and i will advice for free even though my job is to get money for this kind of things, lol.

if you want something cute and historic you should go to St. Augustine florida. i live in jacksonville and my family and i go down there as much as we can. it's touristy, but cute. the hotels are nice and there is an old fort where people go to have a picnic lunch next to the river. also there is the kissing tree, ripplies believe it or not and you can even take a tour of the winery. it is romantic, you can even take a horse pulled carriage ride. our favorite place to eat is the white lion it has real good food and reasonable prices. free parking on sundays. st. augustine is also the nation oldest city. i think each of the links has a listing of hotels, motels and b & b's.

I would suggest Miami because you're extremely close to other cities (within 1 hours driving time). I was just there and didn't stay near the beach but in Bicayne Bay (Marriott) where there was a boat port for private outings and etc...
