The most exciting team right now and for the rest of the year is the Twins. They have the 2 best left handers in the league. Johann Santana and Francisco Liriano. One will win the cy young the other will get rookie of the year. They also have Joe Mauer who will probably win the American league batting title.
Two gold glovers, Torii Hunter and Luis Castillo. They also may have the best, though not over used closer in Joe Nathan. They probably will not make the playoffs but they will make it exciting, they have won 13 of there last 14 games.

Right now, I would say three different teams, because I can't point at one right now. One, the White Sox, because they were on a big winning streak. Second, the Red Soxs, because they have a nine game winning streak, and Big Papi is always cool to watch. Last, any team that faces the Braves! Just Kidding! I would actually choose the Marlins, because they sold almost all of their team, and are doing fairly good of late. Those are my choices.

White Sox. On 6/25 they came back down 9-2 in the 8th to send it to extras. The day before they came back 5-1 and won. Three grand slams in three straight games. Last time that was don was in the early nineties by the Tigers.

oakland A's!!!!
at the start of the season, all their starting 5 pitchers, either had the potential too, or had won 20 games in a season. zito and loaiza had, haren, harden, and blanton (the "new big 3") have the potential too. the A's have gone through some tough injuries but they still have a really good pitching rotation and bullpen. with guys in their bullpen like justin ducsherser and huston street, the A's are the pitching machines of MLB

The red sox, is there any doubt? THey make it so easy to get in to the game. Have you ever been to one of their games? Sox fans are every where so at every game you find your self doing the wave and screaming at the umpire. And the rivalry between them and the yankees turns every game in to a battle for the world series. GO RED SOX!!!
