As one of the answers mentioned -- the word you intended to ask might have been 'Chhoree' which is a colloqial word for a young girl and more often than not is used by the people in rural India from Hindi heartland (states that have Hindi as their language) to refer to a girl of young age.
BTW, another Hindi word one for the girl is Ladki and that for boy is Ladkaa.
