Yep.

Poor lost fools. I really feel sorry for them as they wander through life letting their prejudices control their mind.

YES!

And Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and Newt Gingrich are the high priests. But should we really expect anything different from conservatives, who more often than not, are really just religious zealots? If you think about it, the three major religions all have a term for themselves and a term for the "other" (heathen, gentile, infidel). "Liberal" is just a term keeping in sprit with religion.

The "I hate liberals" mode of thinking obviously makes for good talk radio and a NY Times bestseller or two, but what the conservatives don't realize or care about is that if you take that bigotry into the political arena, you stand a chance of alienating everyone- even those in your own party.

I'm not sure about a new religion, but it is sad that the word "liberal" has such negative connotations for so many people.

Webster's defines liberal as: a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties. I don't see that as a bad thing.

And just for kicks, here's the definition of conservative: a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change. Again, not a bad thing. Not my thing, but not evil, either.

i'm no longer a Liberal and that i do not hate Bush. Few human beings genuinely hate all people. notwithstanding, I actually have a fabulous dislike for the shortcoming of scruples Dick and George and President Karl have shown even as in workplace. do not overlook that maximum persons of human beings are nevertheless registered Democrats, nevertheless open-mined sufficient to vote for what they perceived on the time to be the lessor of two evils. regrettably, the more desirable evil continually looks a extra efficient liar than we comprehend.

Conservatives are all alike...liberal bashing at the expense of looking incredibly stupid on the airwaves and television ie. Rush Limbaugh...what's funny about the conservative agenda is how many secrets and skeletons are in their closet such as "weapons of mass destruction", Iran Contra affair, and Enron (big supporters of corporate America)....the conservatives are responsible for the greed and lack of compassion in this country!

I have never used the term liberal as a negative term...I thought it was something you all were proud of. I don't hate liberals...I respect the fact that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion...however, I do not respect the tactics people will reduce themselves to....like the NY times, like the conspiracy theories that Bush planted the WMD's...and that the arrests in Miami were to make Bush look good...

You must be upset that NORMAL people disagree with you. Take a look at what most liberals stand for. It's no wonder mainstream America doesn't like liberals.

Most of us don't hate liberals, just what they stand for.

It cuts both way Jim. Like all things there are fanatics on both sides. It just that our side consists mostly of high school graduates and adults who pay taxes. Your side is still talking about the prom and which fast food restaurant they'll work at over the summer while still living with mom and dad.

The conservatives are cons, they don't take action referring to their set policies, all they want to do is kick out the immigrants, not reviewing that almost all of the doctors in the NHS are from out of this country, so if they kick them out, who is going to handle the NHS the cons.
