Not ever. 1994 was horrible, and 2002, not much better. Thank God I still remember 1970, 1982 and 1986!

You are a jackass, there has been nothing dull about this world cup! I believe even the scoreless draws we have seen have played out to be incredibly dramatic affairs. Perhaps you just don't have the patience to wait out a beautiful build up for that 3 second period that creates an unbelievable goal, but the rest of us can appreciate such things and certainly do. This will go down as one of the best world cups ever!

Not at all, it is one of the best I can remember. Good teams are winning, just think of some matches, we will have in the quarter-finals, Argentina x Germany or England x Portugal. In 2002, with all the upsets, there were no really good games where powerhouses faced each other (exceptions for the final and Brazil x England).
Now, it's just starting!

Not a chance. 2002 was the crazy fluke World Cup, *this* one got plenty of excitement and there's more coming up. Just look at the quarterfinals:

Argentina vs. Germany (2-time winner vs. 3-time winner and home team)
Italy vs. Ukraine (3-time winner vs. newbie)
England vs. Portugal (It's always fun to watch the English lose)
Brazil vs. France (It might be revenge for 1998, or it might be a repeat performance)

:D Don't give up on 2006 yet!

i believe that the red cards and yellow cards are to much i think it needs to be a bit more attacking soccer, but i still believe that one of the best world cup was in korea and japan. also i dont know how boring holland v portugal or argentina are. but i believe that these teams are good enough when they score early it is over they keep the lead excpet some few countries.
