Of course, the shower helps. But not a hot one. Take a shower in cool, tepid water. This will help wake you up. Also, go to a health food store, and buy a bottle of peppermint. Put some on your fingertip and rub a little under your nose. I swear this works, and it will wake you up better than any cup of coffee. Also, if you are a coffee drinker, do not drink coffee or any other caffeinated beverage after 6p.m. This could interfere with your sleep schedule. Besides, a clean neat, appearance, I think the peppermint will help you greatly. Because, when you look slovenly, you feel slovenly. ;)

Well of course shower but also if your eyes look puffy heat up some teabags in water.. and lay them on your eyes for about 5 to 10 mins. Make sure they bags wont burn you though. That would totally suck. Then use some Listerine mouthwash after brushing and that will wake the rest of ya up....

Shower, wash your face, moisturize with an SPF!!!
Nivea has a great new line of men's moisture, hubby loves it! Plus he likes all of the Old Spice Red Zone products (deo, body wash, shave cream). He isn't a "metro" but he likes having his own stuff.

shower helps a lot to wake you up. if you don't have time, then splash your face with warm water. also try a gentle facial cleanser b/c it will put some color in your cheeks.
