Are the Masons a cult or a club?

Freemasons are a fraternal (meaning male-only) organization which is organized into distinct local lodges that are under the jurisdiction of umbrella lodges. Though there are many ill-founded conspiracy theories about the Masons, it is a club dedicated to helping their local communities.

The term cult would be inappropriate as there is no theology of Freemasonry, though all members are required to attest that they believe in a higher power (the "Architect" of the universe) by swearing upon their holy book. The holy book may be a Koran, Bible, Torah, or even something else (for other religions).

Are you seeking answers or sensationalism?

Are you idylly curious or do you have a nagging feeling that there is more to existence than you are getting from TV, movies, and Xbox?

Are you fond of being drugged out, asleep, satisfied sucking on the glass teat of Fox Infotainment or are you really willing to work on who and what you are?

Do you believe in nothing, only yourself, or a Supreme Being?

Do believe that you have found the only way and that all others are going to toast in a hell that they deserve or are you willing to be a brother to people of all religions?

Do you think that a person cannot change, that no one can be trusted, or do you think that there is hope that with steady commitment a person can become something more?

Are you trustworthy and moral? Or at least trying to be?

There is an Order of Freemasonry called Co-Masonry that admits WOMEN and MEN. We are not for everyone.
