Guys do you like bringing your girl gifts home every once in awhile besides the obvious days? Girls do you like when your man surprises you with things? Im not talking diamonds here or anything like that, just small things.

You are a lot like me. I love it when my husband brings me little surprises. It could be a flower he picked from a garden or something I have been wanting for so long. It is just knowing that he thought enough about me during the day to bring me something like that. It is not being materialistic; it is just wanting someone to think of you.

You aren't being materialistic if you like getting little surprise gifts. You are being materialistic if you expect little surprise gifts. Also, there shouldn't be any "obvious" days. I don't ever get my girlfriend flowers or chocolate or even a card for Valentine's Day. However, she doesn't mind because I surprise her with little gifts to let her know I love her all through the year.

No you are not being materialistic! You just want to have your partner show you that he is thinking of you. Whether it's writing a little note on the mirror of the bathroom, or bringing you a little gift to show you he was thinking of you that day. I think it can really mean alot in a relationship to do those little things. "Materialistic", sounds like something my man would say. LOL Good luck with it...:)

Doesn't sound like you're being materialistic. When men bring us back little things, even just taking the time to write us a little note, it means they're thinking of us even when we're not together. Very thoughtful.
