CheapTickets.com can usually beat anyone's price, but if your schedule is flexible you may want to try Priceline.com. There you can "name your own price". You offer the price you want to pay and within seconds one of their "affiliate" airlines will accept your price/or not.
You may have to increase your offer.
You may also fly out earlier or later than hoped and may have an extra layover but the money saved is well worth it.

Well I always look in travelocity.com and it has the cheapest rates compare with expedia or orbitz, but as extra tip I always check the lowest price travelocity is giving me directly in the page of the airline sometimes I had found them cheaper sometimes not, but you should try

Online try Orbitz (http://www.orbitz.com) or Expedia (http://www.expedia.com). Otherwise call a local travel agent, many of them have access to deals you can't find on the internet.

Look direct with the airline web-sites first and then go to a web-site sidestep.com or kyak.com

expedia.com, cheap tix.com is not cheap at all., go directly to the airline you plan of using and find the rate you're willing to pay.
wish you the best, hope you find what you're looking for.
