my public apologies to nightshade...I really like to argue, and I let it get away from me.

Great Q,,,thank you so much. I came here initially to learn, teach, advise, help, and fit into something with more possible, hoped for, value than a usual chat room. I still follow that premise,,,although admittedly, I do on occassion add insult to inane questions asked.

That said however. I have researched this "forum" and find that statistically, the majority of visitors are young, some seeking attention, some very needy, some who just want to share or vent,,,but in general,,,no one should have to endure people who come here to taunt, insult, defame,,,others. It is however,,,PUBLIC.

I suggest to you, that in your greatest freedom,,,that being CHOICE,,,you disregard IQ's that seem to be 80 or less. Comments or answers, that are only here to PLAY, and just focus on any and all experiences, in any category that enlighten you, in a way you wish that to be the case.

The situation is like this. We come here, perhaps wanting some definitive, honest, decent answers,,, OR offer them,,,while at the same time having an audience of Multiple Millions,,,who may not be here for the same reasons.

Certainly I respect many who have Q's that seem inane to me, but might be critical to them,,, IE: MY B Friend is with someone else,,,,What do I do?" In my case, I pass them over, most often, because, very likely, I cannot truly offer anything that might actually resolve their issue, though to them, it may be VERY valid.

It's unfortunate some people like to resort to name calling rather than having any respect, I mean boom I am a Republican and while I despise a lot of Democrats there are some I do respect.

For instance Tip O'Neill prolly did not have a lot of ideas that I would agree with but he onces respectfully referred to Reagan as the best enemy he ever had (cause he was not slamming Reagan but rather was saying ok he didn't agree with Reagan on a lot of things but respected him anyways hence the term of best Enemy).

In the olden days people respected the President even if he belonged to a different Party, not to mention when JFK was assasinated Democrats were not the only ones who mourned him, Republicans mourned him too including his former Opponent Richard Nixon who not only mourned him but was very devestated by Kennedy's death.

Go ahead disuse away. Do not be insulted by others op pinions or contempt for your thoughts you have the right to express yourself. Just be willing to think about valid criticism and you will have something against which you can weigh your thoughts. It is also okay to change your mind. The scariest thing is a demo cray is the automatron who picks a party line and won't rethink their position when new information comes along.

Sure but the problem is the kiddies are out of school for the summer. heheh sorry I had to throw that in there. :)

Oh yeah and most of the time FACTS are irrelevant. I always provide thoroughly proven facts but everytime some brainwashed person comes out with some twisted version of FOX NEWS. LOL

And no matter how many sources your provide to show them what portion of the story they are not getting from FOX NEWS they just keep going with it. Absolutely amazing if you ask me.

I would like to see you party handle the deficit and see some stratigic plan of getting out of Iraq and handling greenhouse emmissions. Also I would like to see more access to health care in the USA and have a system similar to ours. Also I really want to see how far apart we are truly politically. I bet not as far as we think. I am not saying my country is better or my way of thinking is better but I want to through some of my ideas.

The problem is that we do try and discuss things that matter...immigration, war, etc...but there are jerks out there that just want to insult and ridicule other beliefs. There is very little bi-partisanship here.

I doubt it. I think the intelligent people on this site are the minority.

You're going to get "Bush sucks" or "You're a communist-move to Iraq if you don't like it here" every time.
