How old are you? Sometimes it's good to keep to a routine of the same time to bed and same time to awake - it screws up your body clock less and you'll be able to function when school starts. Does she have to get up early for work? Maybe by you staying up, it keeps her awake and then she has a hard time getting up for work. Otherwise, speak to your mom rationally - ask if she has a specific reason for you to go to bed so early, and if she's willing to compromise a day or two a week. (to start with - ease into it!) like if she'll let you stay up late on Friday nights when neither of you has to get up super early the next day. THEN, and this is key - don't sleep all day the next day! Get up at a normal hour and function. That'll help your case!
Good luck!!

Your mom is making you go to be early, you're on summer break from school, and you passed all your classes? Did you do any better than just pass your classes? You stil need the same amount of sleep, as do your parents. They still have things to do the next day. If I were you and on summer break, I'd try to get my rest and do as much as I could from sun up 'til sun down as I could including earning money some way.

My daughter is upset about the same situation. For us the reason is because we still have to get up early. Her father has to go to work and the kids and I have things to get done during the day. If I let them stay up they would be tired and they also would keep us up. Your parents still have responsibilities even though you have no school and they are also looking out for your health because kids need to get enough sleep to be healthy.

It depends on your age and the time.
Now that school is out it does not mean you should stay up all hours.
You still need your rest.
My daughter is 10 and she stays up until 8:30 - 9pm on a school night and 11 - 12pm on the weekends.

maybe because she still has to get up the next day, or she can't stay up all night a baby set, or because your being a brat? Mothers have many reason's why they do thing's. but almost always it's for the well being of there child no matter the age. try asking your Mother

Maybe she wants you to be well rested. Or maybe she is nervous that her baby is growing up, and she wants to maintain your youth and see you as a kid.
