great answers here-i love Moulin Rouge though-is there anything Nicole can't do? Tom Cruise-why???? I digress-the worst movie I have seen is, and this is based on anticipation leading up to it, Star Trek the Motion Picture-it was so exciting when it came out seeing my favorite characters once again-i was only 10 or 12 and watched the reruns, but it was mainly them just flying through space and weird colors and lights swirling about. The Wrath of Kahn helped the movie series immensely-that was what I was expecting-action!!! not YENTL IN SPACE.

"Little Man" is about to become the worst movie that anyone has ever made about anything.
It will be worse than "Mac and Me", "Open Water" (which was like porn without the porn), "Howard the Duck", ALL of the "Air Bud" films and even worse than the king of all horrible cinematic horrors, the "Problem Child" series.
Good job, "Little Man"!
P.S. I agree with sargeloda2001; "6 Mile" was terrible. Wait for part 8. :) And Moulin Rouge was awesome. Started bad and got great, unlike "The 9th Gate", which started out awesome, and then they ran out of money or the writer died on the last few pages. That ending was horrible.

The two worst movies that I have ever paid to see are COYOTE UGLY and the first CHARLIE'S ANGELS movie. Horrible, horrible writing. At one point in COYOTE UGLY the male lead said "I just don't know what to say." I had to restrain myself to keep from yelling out "Neither did the writers."
The worst movie I ever saw (that I didn't see in a movie theater) was on Cable. It was called SILENT PREY -- starring that NYC cop who got fired for posing in Playboy. It was worse than an Ed Wood movie.
Another really bad movie is WELCOME TO MOOSEPORT -- because, well, Ray Romano is the least funny person on the planet. I again had to restrain myself from yelling something out at this movie, too. There is a scene where he explains that he was worried because he didn't think he was good enough for the female lead. I wanted to yell out "Good instincts!'
I see someone else mentioned MOULIN ROUGE. TO me it was a brave effort that failed miserably. I don't understand why producers continue to make musicals with people who have weak singing voices (I had the same problem with CHICAGO).

I would have to say "Mac" it's an olderfilm, probably 15 years old, or a close second would be "Ace Ventura, Pet Detective".
I just took my kids to see Nacho Libre.
The only good thing about that one is Jack Black, but even he can't make that a good movie. Very weak and predictable, but some moments of laughter.

Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman. It was the most horrible waist of film, money, and time I can think of.

MVP: Most Valuable Primate. It's about a skating chimp. The movie is really bad, but I've seen this monkey skate in person, which was actually pretty cool.
