Black Widows can't jump :)
Black Widow is not a jumping spider.

Anatomicaly Black Widows have evolved to build webs and not for jumping.

They are large spiders reaching about 1.5" ,for femailes, the males are half their size, can injects a very powerful neurotoxin, however black widows are very timid spiders and are not known to agressively bite humans. Surprized? http://kaston.transy.edu/widow.html#species
