Shed tears? 100% yes, as long as their tear ducts are working properly, a person can cry anywhere they happen to be.

Be sad? 100% yes, you can be sad anywhere since your emotions are not air dependant.

Just learn your best friend died cry? Well, let's just say I wouldn't recommend being underwater when getting the news.

I think so. The tears probably won't come out, cause the eyes are too busy fighting out the water, but I think some people cry underwater....

Yes but I would be very hard.
Crying is the action from feeling bad or sad the water it comes out of your eyes is part of crying, so I guess you can cry in the sand in the water or even in the moon.

Yes I have done it. Like I was pushed off the diving board into a belly flop when I was a kid and sh*t hurt sooooooooo bad, I was balling underwater.

Yes of course you can cry underwater but can't prove that you are crying...You wouldn't be able to see your tears.

if the queation is scientific

yes up to some depth,the tears come out with very less pressure.
sea water pressure would balance at some depth

if the question is emotional means , there could be no measure of depth.

yes. when somebody cry underwater tears come out of heart and that's how people get heart attack.

so more people die underwater.

I'm sure your eyes can water, but if you're talking about full crying, I wouldn't think so because when you went to inhale you'd get a lung full of water -- maybe if you had scuba equipment on?
