heavier than a small sized bag of heavy things

You could be walking into trouble here. Don't try a manual lift unless you have planned the process from beginning to end. Is the bag accessible? Is a turn required? Is your route clear? When carrying, will you be able to see over the top of the medium-sized bag? What size are you - small, medium or large? The bag itself would also qualify as lifting equipment. Has it been inspected recently? When is it next due for inspection? Was it certified to carry heavy things in the first place? Is there a maximum fill level or Plimsol line? etc.

Always lift with your knees, not your back. That will not only help with the load you are lifting, but your over all well being also. Depending on the size differential of "what is medium" It would weigh from more to not as much. All in all any size bag of "HEAVY THINGS" will be heavy. As far as "HOW HEAVY" that will depend on the hand of the beholder.
Behold it your way.

i think it all depends on how many heavy things are in the medium size bag you see if there's only two heavy things it wont be as heavy as if you have four heavy things in the bag and so on does that help

i would say that it depends on the person who is saying what is medium what is large, what is heavy and what isn't, lets say a brown paper grocery bag is a medium sized bag. Then you put five boxes of 2lb boxes of cereal in it. That could be light as compared to 3 10bags of sugar which would also fit in the medium brown paper bag. So, it all depends on who is doing the judging of the bag size and the strength of the person picking the bag up.

25kg as this is the amount a health and safey person said I could life without a course on lifting. However, I can lift over 100kg and thus I would say that was heavy and 25kg as medium sized heavy.
