I am 43 and still look like im in my early thirties, and my husband just turned a young looking 57. I don't know why but for some reason his sex drive has increased dramatically to making love almost every night. We've been married 22 years and always had a good healthy sex life but, not every night. He seems to want more and to try different things. By no means am I complaining, I couldn't be happier. Just curious if most men in their middle 50's get this way.

My sex drive has declined slightly over the years (I'm almost 52). I've been married to the same incredibly beautiful woman for 31 years and we still go at it like teenagers. No, strike that, no teenager ever had sex as good as we have.

I have to say that the reason is probably looking at you in the mirror every morning. From talking to my friends, the reason most men lost interest is because their women lost interest. Keep it up and don't be afraid to experiment. A recent experiment with my wife and I has had unbelievable benefits.

a million) even as this is real that females watch a lot less porn than men on standard, erotica is mostly study by women. this is only a diverse sort of porn. 2) I imagine there are some motives: -that is way less difficult for men to rape human beings than that is for women. this is purely biology. -lady sex offenders are frequently a lot less stated than men, because up until eventually those days the conception of a lady sex criminal became brushed off as ludicrous. in reality, there are likely extremely some lady sex offenders. 3) back, diverse issues are a turn-on for women and men. 4) There are extremely some slutty women at bars and golf equipment too. Sl*ts are available in both male and lady varieties. 5) Jokes and stereotypes are purely that- jokes and stereotypes. they're usually no longer depending really. i do not comprehend for certain that men don't have superior sex drives than women. I even do not comprehend, genuinely. yet i don't think of your factors teach something, one way or the different.

My husband is 62 & we have been married 41 years & we still have a great sex life. Not every night but at least once or twice a week & we are both happy with that.
Sometimes if a man takes blood pressure pills they loose their interest.

Enjoy and be greatful. The male sex drive peaks at 18 and goes downhill from that point. Women on the other hand peaks about mid 30's. If he has the stamina, go for it. It wouldn't be there forever.

He's on some type of suppliment. He's taking pills or injections. If he's started working out again, that would help but not to the point of doing it everyday. He's getting some help from somewhere. Just enjoy it and don't let him know that you know his secret. He's only doing it to make sure you don't want to leave him for another guy. He's doing it for you because he loves you. Realize how lucky you are.

Typically no...the male libido declines slowly after the peak (usually age of 18). Look for any tablets laying around. Maybe he's found a new sense of confidence from something. Communication is always good in a relationship, i think.

Sex drive decreases with advancing age. However an attractive woman can easily ignite an elderly male. His drive depends on the woman in front of him. Congrats to you. Remain as desirable as ever.

Yes, men in their 50's do have a stronger sex drive than men in their 20's, believe it or not.

The "drive" is as strong as ever... but the ability is slipping a little, at 56. Diet and exercise have taken care of that, so far...

I suspect that many people, in their 50's, kind of "give up" and just get tired.... so you and your husband may be exceptions.
Enjoy your good fortune....

You've got to stop slipping those Viagra tablets into his mashed potatoes! Seriously I can speak with experience because I'm 65 and everything I've read indicates I'm pretty average and normal for guys my age. For most of us, our sex drive very slowly DECREASES with age. We still love sex but just not as often. Guys definitely do vary with age but I've never seen any evidence that (most) guys get hornier and need to get laid more often as they get older. I do wonder if he has discovered Viagra by himself and not said anything to you but if you both are happy (and it sounds like you are!), just relax and enjoy it. There are lots of older women complaining of loss of libido on their male partners (and vice versa!) so consider yourself fortunate and keep on enjoying your sex life! Cheers to you both!
