I can't speak for anyone else but myself. As a straight guy, I am not bothered by gay folks at all. You don't bother me, you don't make me sick, and i am even a bit flattered when you hit on me (It's happened).
My issue is that I hear a number of gay folks talk about how they want to be treated just like everyone else; equality is the word I so often here. BUT, then I look on TV at a gay pride parade and see jack a$$ after jack a$$. Please don't whine about equality in one breath and then join a parade in drag looking just plain silly. Of course you are going to be treated differently. Let's be logical about this. That bothers people.
When it comes to parades; shriners in stupid hats and little cars with liquor on the breath is okay. Drag is not. I didn't create this way of thinking...It just IS.

Here we go again. This question is asked over and over. Gays are disliked because of the method they have of satisfying themselves and each other sexually. To many it's about as disgusting as anything can possibly be.
Also gays go completely against the plan of nature, they can't reproduce.
No other animal on earth tries to sexually satisfy another animal of the same sex.

Most people hate what they don't understand. Unfortunately! I don't have a problem with anyone as long as they don't have a problem with me for being straight. I do have a tendency to ask a lot of questions and yes, I'm sure that does get irritating, but if someone is willing to help me to understand their position or relationship, then I won't be ignorant anymore. Right? Ignorance leads to hate.

I dont think people may hate gay people i think they just feel it isnt right and its a sin.To me if it makes you happy,well then continue on with your life no one can determine your sexuality but yourself.Their are some very ignorant people in the world who just like to judge others but dont let it bother you,JUST DO U!!!

Because they don't know how to accept people like you. I have no problem with gays and/or lesbians personally. The way I look at it, just as long as you and your significant other are happy, then it shouldn't matter what other people think. If you are truly happy with your lifestyle, then I say go right ahead and be the way you wanna be, be happy!! God Bless!!

Fear, Lack of understanding. To many people believe in order for them to be good, someone else has to be wrong, so since the beginning of man we have found ways to separate ourselves and that is what continues to happen.

I think that gays make us hate them so that they can draw attention to them selfs. I personaly dont "hate" gays, I hate their provocitive, rude, and unprofessional behavior and lifestyle is all.
