Why do people on here pretend they never ask insulting questions?

I don't...but when I ask a question intended to be an insult...I get all these responses from people who ask rude questions all day long wondering where I get the nerve? I learn by example.

nightshade: thought you were done "wasting your time with me"...don't you have something else to do besides bother me?

Try learning through education and research, as well as the Socratic method, instead of by example. You never know, someone might be setting a bad example.

Personally, from watching your exchange with Niteshade, she made you over-react, blow your cool , and most definitely got you.

Couldn't you just be the better person and take the high road?

Maybe if we learned to listen and stopped insulting each other we'd actually have an intelligent debate. Instead I get called a "troll" or "a communist" or "a terrorist" or, my personal favorite, "a libtard". Is this getting us anywhere? Nope.

Honestly I've learned to answer a question and move on. If I dare look back at a question that I've answered previously, there's sure to be some ignorant remark there waiting for me.

A lot of people do. I tried to make a joke of one, copying one insulting question and merely putting "Conservative" where the original asker had put "Liberals". No one got the joke, because few people read the details and nearly no one clicked the link to the original question to understand what I was doing. People are very touchy on here.

I've since tried to shy away from it entirely and try only to take part in legitimate debate.

Insults and slams really aren't amusing, especially when they're overused.

Some of us haven't asked any questions here, insulting or otherwise. I've noticed though, that if you do ask any political or other "hot-button" questions on this site, you need to develop a rather thick skin. You're going to get anwsers you don't like. People can be brutal, especially when they don't particularly agree with what you have to say.

If you want to learn something positive by example try learning from the people that don't do those sorts of things. If you want to act like those people than you will be treated the way they treat everyone. There is no loyalty in stupidity so don't expect it. I ignore the inappropriate comments. They don't pay my bills and I certainly wouldn't loose a second of sleep over it.

per chance its the way you requested or what you requested. now and again each little thing ticks someone off,per chance they were trolling you and needed themselves to sense more advantageous through making interesting of you or maybe they were only in a nasty mood. i do not take those insults heavily,it does damage me plenty so i do take them extremely heavily yet only thumb them down and bypass on. that's all you may do they don't look to be extremely observing your question so that you won't be able to probably say issues decrease back to them and that is what some people like about the following that's stressful and immature to do.
