The papers found in Coretta Scott King's basement were set up for auction on June 30th. However were purchased Friday from the family for $32 million.
There has been talk that they will be eventually dispersed to different locations throughout GA. What are your feelings/thoughts about that?

In his very own museum. It's long overdue. If ineffectual Presidents all get their own libraries in the state they're from, where is the official museum for Martin Luther King Jr. ?

I think the papers should reside in public places like the Charles H. Wright Museum for public reading, therefore allowing future generations to never forget the struggle and also to see how far we have come as a people and strive for an even better playing field among races and creeds.

Assuming that Dr. King did not leave instructions about the disposition of his writings in a will, the family should decide where they are to reside. If the family cannot agree the courts will have to step in and choose for them.

Why should we have any thoughts or feelings about that? It is like asking whree should Clinton's writings be or some other famous orator. I mean, obviously he is great and all but those are personal and private property to be dispersed as per the wishes of the owner.

Well, they are going to actually reside at Morehouse college his alma mater because a group of anonymous businessmen purchased them for 13 million last week.
