check http://www.collegeboard.com and search egyptology as a major. you'll be able to narrow the search down by geograpgy as well, such as a 50 mile radius from your zip code, that sort of thing. maybe you'd like to consider archeology or a career such as a museum curator and then specializing in egyptology.
good luck!

BG and OSU are both good schools, and you could probably specify your degree once you're there. However both are big so you might want to consider other schools too.

I know there is a school in Ohio where you can personlize your degree. I looked at it when I was applying for undergrad so it's been 6 years ago but I'm pretty sure they still have it. I was trying to find the information but am not having much luck however it might have been Wooster.

You can always also do a yahoo search for Egyptology degree and Ohio.

Good luck!

Well you could go to Bowling Green and study archaeology, with an emphasis in Egyptology. In an undergraduate program, that's what almost every university does anyhow - the main subject is archaeology.

Of course, if you go to Ohio State you'll get a great education, have a great time, and make great connections - with a degree from one of the most respected schools in the world.

It will help when you move on to grad school, because a BA/BS in archaeology won't get you a career - you need the advanced degrees!
