We are still using them, i'm on one right now. 800mhz processor, 8mb graphics card, 128 RAM, Windows 2000 Professional. This PC sucks, it's a work PC.

Unless they are completely dead, they are useful for something. CPU power can be used for distributed compiling. Even if there is one available to mirror a drive, or test a clean installation, then it's of some use.
