Yes, he will, unless the steroids scandal brings him down. Remember that early steroid use was not illegal. Before the home run nonsense, Bonds had posted some pretty decent hitting numbers, and that has to be taken into account as well. He isn't the most arrogant player ever; some who were far worse are members of the Hall of Fame. So Barry Bonds will be there, if only because the Veterans Committee might choose him years from now when tempers have cooled, and welcome to him.
I don't like Barry Bonds, but I don't think he cheated. Why aren't we holding politicians of both parties to account for refusing to give straight answers, but crucify Bonds instead?

I think he is a shoe in. However if the allow him in the Hall then they need to allow Pete Rose. Pete Rose certainly did not deserve being banned from the Hall of Fame. Betting on baseball should be separate from the fact of how he played the Game. Just as a players drug use should be separate from how he played the game. After all it is just that a GAME. Games should be fun and memorable.

I don't think so, but, like, even if he makes it in cuz he has 2nd place 4 homers, behind Hank Aaron, when peeps think of the best homer hitter they will think of Babe Ruth or H. Aaron cuz they were actully talented and had skills and didn't want 2 cheat and ruin their life. Nobody will remember Barry Bonds, and if they do it will be as a cheater.

Yes, but grudgingly so. He can't be denied on the basis of his numbers, unless it comes out that he committed perjury about steroid use. Pete Rose was denied, so anything is possible. If Barry Bonds is admitted I think Rose should be admitted as well.

Of coarse. He was the first player to hit 500 homers and steal 500 bases! And now he has the second most career home runs with 719.

Many of the writers (who are the ones who actually do the voting) have said that they wouldn't vote him on the first ballot, but eventually they might. It's not like you have to be a model citizen to be in there... only be good at baseball (or as in Chadwick's case, further the game.)

Of course he will, unless he is convicted of steroids, betting on baseball, and killing Nicole Simpson. Then he might not make it in.
Bonds is second on the all-time home run list, he is probably one of the best five players ever. First ballot entry. In fact, anyone that votes against him should have their ballot permanently removed.
