it all depends on your mood. like today i had drivers training so i wanted to listen to religion music every time one of my friends got behind the wheel and came close to getting us killed or afterwards when we took a brake we listened to rap and rock n' roll. my favorite is disney music dont ask why it just is.

Classic Country from the 50/60's, R&R from the 50's, and the big band era of the 40's. These years had class and good music with good vocals.
Music today is too much about show and dance and little about vocals. The instruments are clanged and clashed at volumns that deaf people can hear and those that can hear will be deaf by the time they are in their 40's.
This may not be a popular answer for the young generation that enjoy MTV but it is the truth in my opinion.

I love country because there are so many good songs now. Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Kenny Chesney are some of my favorites. Country isn't just country anymore. A lot of the artists are putting more kinds of music into their songs. Like pop, rock, and funk. Example: Keith Urban's music is a combination of funk and country, calling this funktry. Kind of funny, huh? Well, hope this helped!

I like old music. Whether it is classical, 1940's big band, 50's 60's 70's 80's. Love pop vocals, classic rock, soft rock, Elton John, Duran Duran, Sheryl Crow, Natalie Merchant, David Bowie, Alanis Morrissette, Doors, Judy Garland, Michael Jackson... Country is ok (Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Bros., Ronnie Milsap, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels - NOT the new country artists today!) I HATE RAP ("CRAP!") AND I HATE REGGAE AND HEAVY METAL! I HATE R.KELLY, JAY-Z, LINKIN PARK, NICKELBACK, SNOOP DOGG AND 50 CENT. THEY ALL SUCK! Hip - hop is terrible.

I love rock and roll but you know what I can see why you like country. I like some country songs.
I like rock because of the guitars. I like loud music. i like the energy it has and gives off. Alot of rock I listen to is about expierences and and relationships gone bad. I liek the heavy guitars behind the lyrics it really adds more meaning to the songs. I also like acoustic rock its a real sad feeling and also helps add to the meaning.

I like everything, as old as classical and as modern as rap and hip hop. I just do not like songs that have senseless cussing, degradation of women, violence, sex, or drugs. I do not normally listen to country, that is one type of music in which I am VERY picky. There's like only a couple country songs I like and I can't even remember the names of those songs or who sings them.
