No more updates from microsoft? Doomsday?

This is the official termination point for support of Windows98 or Microsoft.

I thought that microsoft had stopped supporting windows 98 a LONG time ago.

I havern't herard that. But updatesa on older OS's are really probablly not neccessarry since virus threats are the main reason they do them, older OS's don't get asd many viruses, aslo, by now they should have worked out all of the bugs in windows 98.
You can always upgrade to XP, or to their new one whenever it comes out. I really like XP, not at very first, so different. Just make sure your system has enough RAM and meets all of the requirements, or you'll have big trouble! Don't shoot for the minimum RAM though, or it will seem to crawl!

you do not need updates on win 98 se.
apart from a virus scanner and a popup blocker so cool down an enjoy as you will not get as meny virus's
