It depends on when the instance or instances of unprotected sex occurred. It takes between 8 and 10 days to actually conceive. If it has been too soon since the incident of unprotected sex then there simply will be nothing to detect yet, so all the pregnancy tests in the world, early detection or not, aren't going to help. Your best bet is to wait another week and then take a test again.

Yes you could be pregnant. The withdrawl method is not safe because of pre-ejaculation that your bf does not feel coming out. You are taking the pregnancy test too soon. It takes six to twelve days after fertilization for your egg to plant itself in your uterus. The earliest you can take a pregnancy test and get the correct results is 5 days before your next period is due. There is also a chance you are not pregnant. Your body has to adjust to not being on the pill anymore. It may take a while for your cycle to be normal again.

Hi,
You are better off waiting for at least 2 weeks or so then doing the test. THe HCG hormone had not had enough time to show up in the urine. I would also get a blood test done by your doctor to be sure. This way he can start you on prenatal vitamins etc. if it is indeed a positive. Either way I wish you both the best of luck and may it turn out the way you both wish.

You are probably just experiencing the irregularity of coming off the pill. It can take months to get back to normal. But, don't do the with drawl method if you don't want to get pregnant. A man can have pre-ejaculate which carries sperm just like the full load. Remember it only take one sperm to impregnate you.
If you don't get your period soon, go see your doctor or go to the health department for an exam. If you don't have health insurance, and you have one in your state or city, look and see if you can find a Planned Parenthood Center, they will do the exams and give you birth control at a discount or for free depending on your income.

You need to take a pregnancy test 7 days or more after your period is late. If they are negative then there is a possibility that you aren't. I would go to a planned parenthood and get one done through them for free.
I took a test and they said negative. I waited a few more days and I went to a planned parenthood and I was pregnant. The tests read the hormone when you are pregnant and yours might be really low.
You are probably stressing right now. That might be causing it to be later than it is supposed to be because when you are under any kind of stress your period can skip or be really different that other times.
Right now you have a good chance of being pregnant, go to planned parenthood and get one done for free. Theirs are more accurate.

If you are really concerned, go to the local Planned Parenthood for a pregnancy test.
Also, the withdrawal method is just an excuse for taking unnecessary risks.
Re-up your BC prescription, or buy a pack of condoms.
Why even take the risk? He's only a boyfriend, you do NOT want to have a child with him.....

please use condoms and not withdrawal method, you are taking a BIG risk
however, going off the pill usually has a few MONTHS of irregularity in your period until your body adjusts to being off the hormones. So it will be a bit before your period starts showing up on a regular basis, if at all.

its viable, a few individuals dont discover out they're pregnant till a minimum of 6 weeks long gone that is as a rule whilst youre approximately two weeks past due. retest in a couple of days if its nonetheless terrible then pass on your medical professional and get a blood experiment performed.

your not pregnant, you are just scared! don't worry , it happens a lot, it's a very common thing to have a period delay especially during summer months when you go swimming, drink cold water and walk bare feet. temperature changes can cause delays. the best thing you can do is relax. if you are anxious your not helping your body. for me sometimes helps if i drink a ''warm'' drink like brandy or even better hot tea with red wine

What I think is happening is that your body is going through a hormonal change since you've been off the pill. It's like a shock to your body being off the pill and your body doesn't know how to react to it yet.
**The pill is no good to your body**
