The Black Stars did well today. They played well but found it difficult to shoot.I'm sure we will learn our lessons and prepare for 2010.

Yes, I have, many times, I'm old and I've watched a lot of World Cups. I'm in Mexico, we actually outplayed Argentina (just a little) and yesterday our boys arrived home at the airport.....
I kept saying hey pay attention Brazil is Brazil, but apparently the younger ones didn't pay much attention after all...
Yes Ghana played well. IF they come back in four years, and IF they are playing just as well (doesn't always happen that way..) THEN they will be even more dangerous than this time. The fans of Ghana have every reason to be proud of their team.

I have to agree with you on that one. Ghana played fantastic football against Brazil, creating some awesome chances, yet failing to use them. They played so Brazilian ~ but the best team of the day had to win.
Well done Brazil! Job well done! I am sure Brazil will be facing Spain in their next game.
It is sad to note this statistic: No African team has ever reached the semi-finals in a world cup, NOT EVEN ONE!! And only two countries from Africa have reached the quarter-finals in a world cup ~ Cameroon(1990) and Senegal(2002).

In this game, it all came down to experience in the world of football and Brazil displayed that by taking advantage of the chances they were presented with. Ghana just did not score when they should have. They should take this and build up on it and HOPEFULLY qualify for 2010. And come back with strikers. Hopefully because it is pretty difficult to qualify from the Africa zone. Go Ghana.

Ghana played great, like many other countries, but what matters is the Goals and that's what their weak side is.

i think Ghana was good too....and i was rooting for them to score a goal which unfortunately didn't happen. if they did score, it would have challenged Brazil . it would have been more fun and exciting. guess it was tough luck.
