Rush Limbaugh was stopped at the airport after an international flight. There was a question about some medicine that he had on his person (No one has confirmed that it was Viagra this is a rumor) the question was cleared up and he was allowed to go on his way. I don't understand why this needs to be broadcast all over the world. Give the man a break. Like him or hate him he still deserves the same privacy that we all enjoy.

Hey "G" when did this become about race??? I said nothing about race. If Rush was black I would still think that people should leave him alone. Its funny that when Slick Williy lies under oath everyone was saying to leave him alone but when Rush was questioned and released in an airport (this could happen to anyone) the lefty press goes nuts. What happened to innocent until proven innocent?

1. The fact that it was Viagra was confirmed by his own attorney so that is not a rumor.
2. Possession of a controlled substance of any kind without a prescription is a crime.
3. When you enter the US you are subject to search by Customs.
4. This is his second drug offense and is a violation of his plea agreement on the felony doctor shopping charge that he got last year.

Rush is a public figure and makes his living as a public figure. A person in that position gives up their privacy for fame and money. That's the reason his life is public, including his medicine cabinet. Most lying hypocrites do not want their laundry aired.

I understand your point, but if you want to be a celebrity, you have to play the game. Just because he's a political celebrity doesn't make him immune. They don't leave Brad & Angelina alone and they won't leave him alone.
Because he was detained, it is part of the public record, so everyone's going to know about it.
And the question wasn't cleared up - he had no Rx for the pills. They just decided not to press charges. However, they will be filing with his probation officers.

Ethan M- I knew you were a right-wing apologist but this is ridiculous. If this were a democrat I can't see you saying the same thing.
Unlike a lot of his adversaries,Rush was the PINNACLE
of self-adoration and self-congratulation(gross I know).
If he's going to spend years talking about responsibility,he does at this time have a bit of explaining to do.

THE REAL TRUTH: Rush has been having an affair with Hillary for years, and needs the Viagra even with a bag over her head.

We all deserve the right to privacy but rush doesn't think so. He lives in the public spotlight. If Joe Smoe was caught nobody would care, but a guy who thinks all drug users belong in prison deserves a taste of his own medicine.

No he doesn't. He sold his privacy years ago for celebrity.
He was caught with a prescription made out in someone else;s name. He has a prior arrest for illegal drug possession.
Arrests are public information. This fat phony needs to shut up and obey the law himself. No one went in to his "medicine cabinet". He had the viagra on him.

Unfortunately when you are a public figure, you lose a lot of privacy. Personally I could care less if he takes Viagra. The thought of it gives me the heebie jeebies.

The Libs need something to make them Happy. You know they have been trying to do him in for some time. Ha Ha Ha not this time. Only Liberals are supposed to have rights. They are superior to us conservatives for the exception of having a BRAIN.
Thats where they go into retrograde.

Well his first medical mishap was a crime... that is no longer protected privacy...
this could well be a violation of his probation... which is also a crime... crimes are not protected privacy... for anyone...
why is it when a poor black man commits a crime, you want to throw him under the jail. But when a rich white man does... "he's done nothing wrong"?
