where would you start your search for understanding? and what would be your destination point?

It would NOT be the internet thats for sure.
I would goto a nursing home. Or a place i could find alot of older people.
My question would be what makes you happy.
What made you happy when you were young, and is it the same now?

My question would be, 'how can I unlock and start using the other 90 percent of my brain?' This would enable me to develop my brain to a level where I could achieve things beyond my current understanding. Then I could teach others, and soon we humans could actually evolve beyond our current stagnation of religious doctrine, war, and lack of compassion by having the power of knowledge. But increased knowledge is nothing without increased compassion, just as increased technological advancement is nothing without increased compassion. I would say humanity instead of compassion but at the current state humanity doesn't strike me as exceptionally compassionate but we have the ability to be so.
As for where this search would begin, I have no idea. If I knew I'd be there. The destination point is at current, beyond my understanding, but a wonderful place, of that I'm sure:)

Question, "what is the meaning of life". Pursuing this question would help me to use my time in a worthwhile, meaningful way. I'd start by looking inward - examining my values and how I impact those around me. Then I'd read and share ideas with people smarter than me who are pursuing the same answers. The final destination is peace - knowing how I fit in the scheme of things and how to make my existence mean something.

How do i fit into the scheme of the big picture of the Universe? I would start by gaining as much knowledge from books and meditation and the destination is AT_ONE_MENT! This would give me the understanding that each of us on this planet are one in Mind and Race

I would ask if there is any hope for humanity. I would learn our final disposition, for better or for worse, so I could better prepare for it. I cannot honestly say how I would be able to find this out, but I took it as the hypothetical question it is. My destination is, of course, the knowledge.

I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND THE UNIVERSE i can comprehend that it has no beginning and no end. if i get in shuttle and never come back where do i go ?
