Nothing is cooler than being true to yourself. Wanting acceptance and to be "cool" are normal things, finding yourself is a part of life. But you should not change yourself to please others. Wearing clothes, or having the latest gadget might make you cool to some people, but once those things aren't cool anymore you won't be either. If you don't love yourself, noone else will. Live your life for you

The most un-cool thing you can do is try to Buy cool or Act cool. Cool is when you quit caring (not ACT like you quit caring--but ACTUALLY quit) what others think of you, when you quit trying to curry the favor and approval of others, when you quit TRYING to be cool. If you are trying to "prove" that you are cool or "show" that you are cool--you aren't.
That is why people tell you to "just be yourself." When you are just your natural self you will be cooler than when you put on an act for others. You will never be totally cool--but no one else is either. People will either accept you or reject you. You can't control that. You will not be universally accepted or loved, no one is. You seek the unconditional approval and love that only your family can give you--you won't find it from your peer group. You only get that from God, mom, dad, and grandparents.

Well, while some might look at the term simply as an excuse to avoid the tragedy of saying a complete intelligent sentence, others might look at the sentence and seek meaning from it. You shouldn't have to change your personality completely to be cool. Being able to accept your weaknesses and work for the better accounts for most of peoples opinions. As for clothes, if you are old enough to fit into them I suggest places like Hollister's, American Eagle and perhaps Quiksilver, although if you are in high school and up I'm not sure if that last one is in your age group.
Good luck.

Not really. You have to be comfortable being yourself. Wearing the latest trend in clothing most of the time makes you look just like everyone else! Find your sense of style, and own it!

Yes, you can buy things that would help you be a better you, I know its a little complicated and weird but the best person to be is you,
I mean would you rather be a first rate version of you than a second rate version of someone else?

That is sad how you think that. Why would you ever care about being cool. If you have trustworthy friends and a good family then what is to worry about. Do not give in to peur pressure. Good Luck.

no,there is nothing you can buy or get to make you cool.its true just be you,it's the coolest thing you can do.why would you want to try to be someone else? the people around you may look & act cool, but they can also be hiding some deep emotions & they are using coolness to cover it up.i hope that helps
