Hi,
Go to http://www.support.dell.com/ and enter the service tag number of the laptop. You should find this on the back and in the bios. The site will tell you what configuration the laptop was built as. You can also select "Display" properties in the control panel and select the "Settings" Tab" then click on Advanced" then the "Adapter" tab. It should show you the RAM assigned to your video card. Most Dell' laptops have ATI cards in them.
Hope this helps

On the bottom of the laptop will be a long narrow white tag that has an Express Service Tag code listed. Go to support.dell.com, and enter the service tag code in the tag box, then select "Original configuration" in the third box. You will get a detailed list of every item that shipped with your laptop. that should tell you what you need to know. (As there is more than one card available, it will show you which YOU have).
